Mono lino prints

Printed from four separate shapes of lino rearranged for each print. The forms created were body-like but very abstract, the muddiness of the ink was due to printing first a green and then contrasting colours on top. It gave a skin-like texture as they are muddier and there are hints of greens and blues beneath the main peachy brown.

These shapes and forms were an interesting sometimes animal sometimes human sort of creating a cross between human and animal. Certainly anatomical or body like these prints were an interesting abstraction of the body and allowed space for analysis of the body outside its original context.
